R&D activities

Mascia Brunelli S.p.A. and Biolife Italiana S.r.l. have laboratories fitted out with modern equipment, for Quality Control, Research and Development. Important results have been obtained in different areas.

Microbiology: results of Biolife research are for instance the MUCAP test for immediate identification of Salmonella, the ALOA medium for rapid detection of Listeria monocytogenes and several chromogenic media, e.g. Salmonella (CSA), E.Coli / Coliforms, Candida albicans, Group B Strep, ESBL, CRE, etc.

Immuno-diagnostics: Mascia Brunelli research has produced reagents for platelet aggregation and adhesiveness and a complete range of tests for rapid determination of infectious diseases, rheumatology, FOB, etc...
